Jackie Thompson was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. She is a graduate of PCPA's two-year actor-training conservatory program in Santa Maria, CA, and achieved her BFA in Musical Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. She is currently working as an understudy at Sierra Repertory Theatre for the remainder of their season.

Jackie has recently been seen in the ensemble of SRT's production of The Wizard of Oz at the Fallon House Theatre in Columbia, CA. Jackie's most recent, and favorite, credits include Sierra Repertory Theatre's productions of Into the Woods as Little Red Riding Hood, Hair as Crissy, The Play That Goes Wrong as Annie, Cinderella as Charlotte, Sunday in the Park with George as Frieda/Betty, and Elf as Deb.​
