Jackie Thompson was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. She is a graduate of PCPA's two-year actor-training conservatory program in Santa Maria, CA, and achieved her BFA in Musical Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. She is currently an Artistic Associate and Resident Actor at Sierra Repertory Theatre (SRT).

Jackie can be seen next as Little Red Riding Hood in SRT's production of Into The Woods from October 11th to November 10th at the East Sonora Theatre in Sonora, CA. Jackie's most recent, and favorite, credits include Sierra Repertory Theatre's productions of Hair as Crissy, The Play That Goes Wrong as Annie, Cinderella as Charlotte, Sunday in the Park with George as Frieda/Betty, and Elf as Deb.​
