Jackie Thompson was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. She is a graduate of PCPA's two-year actor-training conservatory program in Santa Maria, CA, and achieved her BFA in Musical Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. She is currently an Artistic Associate and Resident Actor at Sierra Repertory Theatre.

Jackie can currently be seen in Sierra Repertory Theatre's production of The Play That Goes Wrong as Annie. Upcoming projects include the SRT in Schools tour of Laura Ingalls Wilder, as well as SRT's production of Drowsy Chaperone. Jackie's recent, and favorite, credits include Sierra Repertory Theatre's productions of Cinderella as Charlotte, Sunday in the Park with George as Frieda/Betty, and Elf as Deb.​
